Friendly Competition
Historically we are a club that engages in friendly competition. This club is meant to help those new to the sport become confident and improve their skills. It is also a place where current members train to improve their own skills everyday so they can succeed in competition beyond this club.
Opportunities
Monthly meetings are held to talk about upcoming tournament lakes and lakes that individuals have fished through out the year. We talk about what works and where.
This is also the time for new members to chat with current members about boats, motors, tackle and techniques. As well as an opportunity to meet the members and get to know them personally.
What to Expect
Each new member will receive a buddy member to help ensure there is smooth transition into the club.
There will be a 6 month probationary period. After those 6 months associate members will be voted in at the monthly meeting.
Finally, You can expect to get out of this club what you put into it. The more effort you put in the more successful you'll be and the more knowledge you will gain. We expect all new members to be confident in what they want and aggressive enough to get it.
Giving Back
As passionate anglers we try to do things to improve bass fishing like working on conservation projects related to the fishery we enjoy and improving the image or bass fishing in the local community by raising money for charities and working with kids
We also participate in state and national groups that govern and influence our fisheries.
What is Expected
As a member of the Puyallup Hawg Hunters you are expected to have a level of respect for the club, club members, yourself, and the areas in which we perform our sport.
Each member is also expected to offer their time and energy to the organizations listed above as well as to the club.
We are proud of the sport and proud of this club. We hope all new members have the same love and desire that our current members do.
